We had to departure early than expected due to forecasted storm warning 17th February, Paul gave us the correct information to get to East Midlands airport. Just a 15-minute drive from historic Windsor. The 18th-century pub has wonderful original features and relaxed garden terraces. Free Wi-Fi and free private parking is available on site. We had an excellent customer care service from Mandy and the rest of Team. Our room was comfortable, cosy and spotless (daily check and tidy up). Gardens are wonderful and very relaxing. We had our breakfasts included and evening meals which were freshly cooked to perfection.

The bar stocks a fabulous selection of ales, traditional cider, a wide choice of Belgian beers, a fine wine selection and a large batch of gins, there is literally something for everyone. The Trooper also hosts live music every Thursday as well as a quiz night on the last Wednesday of each month. You’ll be hard-pushed to find a better atmosphere in Windsor. Great location, easy access to the centre of town and sites. Very clean and staff were very friendly and also assisted us with luggage up the stairs
