What a lovely little gem this was. Was made most welcome by the lovely Monika who showed us to our most comfortable and clean room. Warm, contemporary and attractive, Chestnut House is run by your hosts, Toni and Dawn, who pride themselves on offering superb hospitality in a romantic and relaxing atmosphere. With just 5 rooms, you can be sure of a friendly, personal service and a warm welcome. The host Toni was wonderful. Location was very convenient. The room was exceptionally comfortable and breakfast was a delight.

All rooms are elegantly decorated and offer a flat-screen TV with Freeview and a modern bathroom with power shower and luxury Caroline Henry toiletries. Delightful room, at the top of this characterful house on the hill above Bath. Very clean and comfortable. I slept very well despite a major storm outside. The staff were very helpful, particularly Emily and the breakfast team, making sure I had all I needed as a vegan, including a scrumptious breakfast. Having parking on site was very useful and I enjoyed the walk into town and even the walk back up the hill via the little hidden pathways.
