The owners Jonathon and Isobel were wonderful - supportive and kind. Provided great advice and the evening meal and breakfast were superb, with local ingredients. La Lune Lake is set in Joué-en-Charnie, 22 km from Solesmes Abbey, 44 km from Le Mans Circuit, as well as 45 km from Antarès. What a lovely, comfortable place to stay on our way down south. Gary and Jo were wonderful hosts and made us feel right at home.

Set in Soudan, Les gîtes du petit Marcel offers accommodation with heated pool, free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. It was a very quiet location. Newly renovated with great comfort. A lovely welcome from the owner, Melanie, who also had good recommendations for local restaurants. The breakfast was generous and delicious with homemade breton tart.
