Situated in Saint-Girons-dʼAiguevives, 40 km from Matmut Atlantique Stadium, La Closeraie Saint Girons features accommodation with spa facilities and a solarium. My room was beautifully furnished, in fact the whole of the property was just gorgeous. I didn’t use the pool but it looked lovely. Having access to a kitchen and small enclosed garden was great for my dog and a much bigger garden was available too. Having soft drinks and beers from the fridge included was another unexpected luxury. Breakfast was wonderful, really attractive and lots of it too. I would love to go back again and stay longer. I’ve no hesitation of recommending this for a lovely stay.

The on-site pool was refreshing and lovely. Breakfast was served on the terrace just above the pool with a fabulous view of the valley. The rooms were fantastic and exceptionally clean. We stayed in three of the rooms, I’m sure the fourth one was equally wonderful. We had arrived by bicycle with no car. Our hosts were wonderful in giving us a ride to a local restaurant.

Typical French breakfast served outside is nice as well. Ideal place if you want to read a book next to the pool in an absolute calmness.

To sleep in the comfort of a beautiful estate like this on a road trip stopover is one thing, but for it to be essentially an art gallery at the same time was the most unexpected and lovely surprise. We ate breakfast surrounded by beautiful works of art. We cannot thank our hostess enough for welcoming us so warmly into this dream of a house.
