Pleasant bedroom with an adequate terrace overlooking a small but interesting almost botanical garden, planted with exotic trees and shrubs labelled with their latin and common names. Being out of season (the best time to visit San José) the hotel was very quiet and although no cooked breakfast was available we were provided at no charge with all the food and equipment necessary for a basic DIY continental breakfast.
