The Hotel Föhrenhof Garni is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The sun terrace and garden offer a beautiful view of the Zugspitz and Wetterstein mountains. Breakfast was amazing, one of my top 10 hotel breakfasts ever. The room was huge and lovely - there's radio in the bathroom! Loved the shower especially. We were also served a delicious sandwich upon return one night - they could not have been kinder.

Close to zugspitze, Neuschwanstein, innsbruck, Imst, etc.. The little village was very charming and even had a waterfall within walking distance. The owners were very welcoming and pleasant. The breakfast was fantastic. My husband and I will definitely be back!! Loved everything about it.

Fantastic and quiet location surrounded by mountains, but only a short drive to Plansee lake and Linderhof Palace. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of varied food and drink provided. Hosts were amazing and really attentive. I would happily stay here again

The room was very nice with nice views of the mountains and watched the cows being walked through town each morning. Bathroom was very nice and comfortable. Coffee in the room and on-site parking.

Langerfelderbahn is 5 km from the guest house. Family run. Great view from road. Just two bedrooms upstairs with balcony. Very quiet. Breakfast is laid out in the morning outside the room for you to help yourself. With the tax you pay the owner gives you a travel pass to use in the area. We went on the cable car to Zugspitz which was wonderful and caught the bus just down the road. Had 2 meals at Dorfbrunnen hotel (which gives massive potions!) which is 5 minutes in the car (a bit too far to walk). Would highly recommend a stay here.

The nearest airport is Innsbruck, 76 km from Appartement Pension Strolz, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. The owner was nice and welcoming and really helped with questions about day trips and recommendations! The guesthouse is located in a small and quiet town right next to the Mountains. We booked a small room without a kitchen and were totally fine with it, as we went out to eat in restaurants anyway. It was just as described here on booking.com. We also had access to a balcony with a beautiful view on the mountains. The room was very clean and after we asked we got some cutlery, plates, coffee mugs and cups so we could have our own breakfast on the balcony. At 9pm we decided to rent two e-bikes for a fair price of 20€/bike, which the owner then prepared for the next morning. He also recommended a beautiful tour to one of the mountains nearby, which we then did and were totally happy with our experience! We found it hard to choose a tour, since we are not experienced, so we were happy that he helped! Overall we can absolutely recommend this stay! Everything felt very welcoming and comfortable.
