The name "guest-house" does not even serve full justice. This place is a home away from home, like when you would visit an old friend. For us, a bunch of petrol-heads on our annual pilgrimage to Nurburgring, Erich also served as a knowledgeable mentor. Thank You, and hope to visit again!

This is an accommodation with an excellent value. For us the location was perfect, next to Steffelner Drees and close to Gerolstein. This small pension has a couple of rooms named by famous cities and the rooms are thematic also inside. We had a separate shower and WC, anyway not shared with other rooms, but only for us. All facilities are very clean. Beds are comfortable, sheets and towels clean and pleasant. There's Internet and parking. Quite good breakfast is included. The pension does not have a restaurant, but serves beverages and there's an escape room with 3 themes, but we did not test it... We would be happy to come again, there are plenty of nice hikes, water springs and swimming pools nearby.

This family-run guest house lies in the quiet village of Gemünden, in the forested Vulkaneifel region. Auszeit am Eifelsteig is situated near the Gemündener Maar lake and the spa park, 2 km from the town of Daun. Excellent stay - beautiful view from the balcony, clean room, helpful and friendly staff/owner, very nice breakfast and very closely located to the Maare.
