The hosts are amazing; they sat and chatted with me during breakfast (which was also fantastic). The pension is new and all the facilities and mattresses etc are too.

There is a restaurant 50 metres from the Pension Vogtländer. The train station and park theatre are both about 1 km away from the property. A very special small hotel in Plauen. There are teddy bears everywhere, at the entrance, in the reception, in the rooms, and in the breakfast room too, it's very charming. The owner couple are very nice and friendly and they speak english. There are only a few rooms in this house-hotel but each one of them is uniquely designed and decorated. My room was very spacious and clean, bed was comfortable. Breakfast is good, there is a little bit of everything, warm bread rolls, some cold cuts, cheeses, vegetables, fruits, and a very nice and extensive jam selection. On request a fried egg can be ordered which was good and tasty. The hotel is 3 tram stops from the main train station, and a couple more from the city center, so even it is not located there, the center can be reached relatively easily. A little gift at check-in and check out were also a very nice touch. Overall a very recommended place to visit.

The room is spacious, the breakfast was great with “home-like” approach. Great place to stay if you are hiking on “old Stezka Českem”, it is just couple hundreds of meters from the track. Totally recommended, we will certainly stay again if we are around.

After a long and difficult journey, we really appreciated the convenience and comfort of the modern and well-heated bathroom. The room was not only very spacious but beautifully renovated with comfortable beds and freshly ground coffee beans prepared by the kettle. The staff was very attentive and accommodating. Rich breakfast, we could set the time ourselves and the eggs were freshly prepared according to our wishes. I warmly recommend! And the surroundings are without comment - beautiful nature.

All in all a very nice place and I highly recommend this place.
