The Hotel Föhrenhof Garni is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The sun terrace and garden offer a beautiful view of the Zugspitz and Wetterstein mountains. We loved this place! The room is very comfy and clean. The staff is super welcome. On our late arrival they served us free sandwiches and they were excellent. Thank you! The wifi worked perfectly well. It exceeded my expectations in overall.

The hosts are simply amazing. We missed our bus to the station (which runs once every hour) and he was kid me kind enough to drop us to the station. Other than that, the rooms are clean, spacious, washrooms are clean, WiFi works well, there is a shared kitchen, free parking etc. If you would like to explore starnberg area then this place is ideal. We would recommend having a car as buses come once every hour. We had come to attend Oktoberfest so car was convenient and cheaper option than commuting via bus, metro etc. Overall, smooth and wonderful experience. The walk around the lake is long and beautiful :)
