I liked breakfasts there, after which I could snowboard from morning until 2-3 pm without thinking about lunch. I was given a bus card with which I could use buses for free, it was convenient to get to ski lifts. Many bars and restaurants are only 5-10 minutes away on foot.

Rooms at Hotel Garni Schellenberg are decorated in warm colours, and feature a flat-screen TV, minibar and sofa bed. Each has a balcony or terrace with mountain views. The location was exceptional right next to the main train station and about 15mins to the Nebelhorn cable car station. The hotel ambience was very relaxing and the staff quite friendly. The spa was spacious and we never felt crowded in spite of the hotel being full. My husband and I had a lovely time and would definitely recommend a stay at this place.
