The rooms (including bathroom) are very spacious and comfortable, and the hotel restaurant is a good option for food whenever you need it. Jason, the property owner/manager has excellent English and was very responsive before and during our trip, and arranged the taxis we needed to arrive from Guilin station and then onwards to our hotel in Yangshuo. Highly recommended.

Prior to my arrival, communication was smooth—Melody speaks excellent English and provided all the information I needed about activities in Guilin. During my stay, Ms. Bai was incredibly kind. Despite her limited English, we managed to communicate easily with translation apps. She helped me find a nearby restaurant and we even shared a pleasant conversation over tea. The hotel’s facilities are modern, and my room had everything I needed. The hotel is a bit far from the city center, which could be inconvenient depending on your plans in Guilin. However, this is something you can easily see on the map before booking, so it wasn’t a surprise. Plus, the distance is compensated by mountain views and the peaceful surroundings. For me, it was completely worth it—after long days of exploring, the tranquility of the hotel and the nearby dining options made it the perfect place to relax.

I absolutely loved the experience of staying in the heart of a local minority village! The Lost World building is a solid wood 3 story structure that has been completed remodeled with modern comforts (beds showers and amenities ) while maintaining the original architecture integrity and beauty! The people are so nice and welcoming and the village people (young and old) dressed in their traditional clothes and put on a wonderful performance for all tourists. There are no cars in the village except at the entrance so we just walked around and took in the beautiful scenery. Also I am very impressed how clean the restrooms are and the villages are as the local people are sweeping constantly! A special praise to the owner Wei and his staff they made sure we had western style breakfast and also cooked us a delicious dinner with a variety of local fresh vegetables and meats. We walked through several villages full of small shops and the nicely paved country paths along the river. Absolutely picture perfect green farm fields and mountains and I feel like I am indeed in a beautiful lost world! So glad we stay here and will love to come back again and stay longer next time!

It is situated 8 km from Ping'an Rice Terrace and offers luggage storage space. The guest house features mountain views, a sun terrace, and free WiFi is available. This was a beautiful guest house in a great location in the old village. Excellent spot to stay to fully explore around. There was some amazing hiking that you can do from the village around the rice terraces. The room was comfy and clean. Great vegetarian food! Everyone was so helpful -The guesthouse organised a driver for us from Guilin train station to the village, and were also on hand to answer any questions and advice. It was an excellent stay
