I would like to specially thank Barbara, who was incredibly kind and made a delicious dinner for me and my kids when we got there late at night and kitchen wasn’t already working. It made us feel so happy and thankful. The breakfast was authentic with local products and very delicious.

Breakfast is offered every morning. Since the property was newly renovated in 2018, it offers billiards and table tennis and table football for enjoyment. There is also a large sunbathing lawn. Very friendly staff and receptionist, bright, clean and nicely decorated spaces, heated bathroom with towels, lots of parking spots, easily accessible basement for skis and ski boots to store, the ski bus picks you up right next to the hotel and it takes about 5-10 minutes to arrive in Katschberghöhe. The front door opens automatically when you approach the hotel especially if your hands are full of luggage. Also creatively designed bunk beds that can be set within a minute in the same room. Possibility of listening to YouTube on TV. 😊

Featuring traditional wooden furniture, the rooms and apartments overlook the mountains and include cable TV and a bathroom. Most rooms and all apartments have a balcony, and the apartments also feature a kitchenette. Excellent breakfast that exceeds expectations! The hotel has an amazing restaurant serving not only breakfast but local dishes for lunch and dinner!

Hans kindly picked me up from Grosseck liftstation & gave me a lift back. Barbara was very kind & friendly - and served enormous, delicious breakfasts. Beware! Room was large, warm & comfortable. Great value for money!

Family-run for over 300 years, Gasthof Post in Rennweg is just off the A10 motorway and a 5-minute drive from the Katschberg Ski Area. It offers a sauna, steam bath, and free Wi-Fi. The restaurant serves traditional Austrian and Carinthian cuisine. All was well, we had great food, and comfortable room, great hospitality from the hotel.

We had a family room with 2 seperate bedrooms, we had a very nice stay and we will come back later again for sure! The breakfast was basic but very good. Also the opportunity to have dinner, for a small price! It is beautiful to walk around near the hotel, with a big playground 3 minutes away for the kids.
