We loved the wooden cabin style of this guest house. It is at the end of Valbona near the start of the Valbona - Theth trail and has the most incredible open views of the mountains, plus a cute balcony to enjoy it from. The owner was so sweet and kind and was always there whenever we needed him.

Great host, clean minimalistic rooms, comfortable beds, great shower, lovely breakfast included and dinner for an additional cost. We had a wonderful stay, perfect for anyone wanting to explore Valbona national park.
Great location with option to dine in the garden with superb views of the surrounding mountains. Delicious home cooked meals with most ingredients coming from the own, attached farm - dinner is a set menu. Its 3km outside town, thus much more quiet, allowing to relax after your hikes while enjoying the scenery. Hosts are super friendly and helpful.
What a gem of a place! We had an amazing stay at Dioni Guesthouse. The host was very kind and took a really good care of us. The location was truely magical, very quiet but close to the trail and we did not have problems finding it, after receiving detailed instructions. We enjoyed our breakfasts and also had our dinners there which were always tasty and plentiful. Our stay here was one of the highlights of our Albanian trip, simply loved it!
In a quiet area of Valbone (away from all the other hotels and guesthouses on the main road) with spectacular views of the valley mountains. You have your own little house, with clean and comfortable facilities. Host is super friendly, even if language barrier is a problem. No wifi but that means you have nothing else to do apart from enjoy the views…!
This fantastic guest house welcomes you with delicious home made food, brand new and clean rooms and super friendly hosts. Almost all the food is grown in their own garden and you have to try the homemade wine: super delicious! Quiet location outside the city but directly at the trail coming from Theth. Elsa's Brother is a guide and can help out with trails around the area.
