The name African Ambience cannot do the guest house more justice. The extremely well kept stunning garden and pool allows the visitor to completely relax. The breakfast was just awesome and no need to feel peckish before lunch. The owners Hennie and Ilze went out of their way to ensure every need was fulfilled. We will definitely return at a heartbeat.

Secure location, the little bungalow was comfortable for 2 people and had everything we needed while we suffered from jetlag, it was well equipped and clean. Wifi was good, bathroom perhaps a bit tight for bigger people, but very suitable for us. We liked the fitted insect screens in the bathroom. Unfortunately the resident hippos didn´t show during our 3 nights. St Lucia is a nice little town with a few basic restaurants. Best thing we did was to drive to iSimangaliso Wetland Park, west and east, in our 2 WD car. Different wildlife on each side and very rewarding.

Breakfast was amazing too. Tell Bonita what you want, and she will arrange everything. The hippo boats are within walking distance. For the other tours they will pick you up right at their door.
Amanda is a great host,she was available whenever we needed her. The house is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We were not affected by Load Shedding or power failure as the house is almost totally of the grid! Great location close to everything. I would definitely recommend checking in at Sea's the day!

Everything. Marlize was a wonderful host who really helped us organize everything we needed for our stay including helping us book some activities. The guest house is stunning, very clean and quiet but is still very close to everything that we needed. We will definitely be back next time we are in St Lucia.
Great location on the outer quiet part of town. Excellent host who helps in every way he can, gives advices and helps book tours (though you might want to book ahead for some as they can fill up). Very good breakfast, even to go when going out early. Rooms are decent size. Lovely garden.
I was here for 11 nights and it was really a very nice stay. Amore is a great host and I felt right at home. The room is really big, very nice and was very clean. The bed was super comfortable and breakfast was also wonderful. The location was also great. Very quiet and in 8 minutes you could walk to the main street. I can definitely recommend it to others. Thank you very much for the great stay.
Good location, nice and quiet. The property is a real window into the past....very much part of a bygone age, with memories of childhood family holidays in a simpler time. I found it to be delightful and, apart from the bedroom with double bed, very spacious. Imelda was a charming host, extremely helpful without being intrusive. I would most definitely return if I still lived in South Africa....but then again, who knows?
I have never experienced such a lovingly furnished guest house. Attention was paid to every detail. The host couple is incredibly nice and takes care of all the little things. I am blown away and totally recommend this guesthouse.
