The Uptown Oasis, guest house in Minneapolis

Offering inner courtyard or quiet street views, each unit comes with a kitchen, a flat-screen TV and Nintendo Wii, wardrobe, a washing machine and a shared bathroom with bath and a hair dryer. A dishwasher, an oven and microwave are also offered, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. At the guest house, units come with bed linen and towels.

It was a cozy house with a very clean and secure room. I loved that the neighborhood had a peaceful and calm vibe.  The location was great. There were plenty of nearby restaurants. Public areas were clean and well maintained.

    The location is very central, and you can even take the metro/tram to/from the airport, which makes it very convenient. The locks use combinations, so the "handoff" of the keys was very easy, via messenger/email. The studio had a little kitchen, cozy bathroom, and the bed was very comfortable. In all, I really enjoyed my stay. The hosts were also very accommodating about requests (though it is better to call them instead of messaging).

    Great location. Convenient to many restaurants and theatres. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean and quiet. The in-room coffee was the best hotel coffee I've ever had and the rainhead shower was awesome! I love that the decor/style of the hotel was unique and that it didn't feel like a chain hotel. Lots of options for parking close by. We found a church lot that was only $7 for the night (weekend rate).
