I loved my stay at Tamarind Guest House with my son. It was right across the street from two of the main ruins in Ayutthaya, plus the night market. The guest house itself is really cool, with lots of fun details, like old shutters used for dividing walls, and blue and white ceramic pieces everywhere. A great value, super nice hosts, and a top location. I highly recommend.

as everyone wrote: the staff! went above and beyond all the time. we only stayed a night but they supplied us with water at all times of the day. gave us needle and thread to fix something. the 6:30 shuttle to the market was a huge added bonus. peaceful and beautiful location! it was nice to just sit outside and take it all in. visit was short but very sweet! also rooms are very updated which was a pleasant surprise.
