Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
It’s a quiet on the beach place that is perfect, restaurant is great staff brilliant and Sam can’t do enough to make your stay enjoyable, whatever you do take a bike ride you won’t regret it, the people you meet make you feel so welcome and are genuinely interested in you having a great time
Super charming, helpful and amazing host, we felt so welcome and enjoyed our stay very much. The food was outstanding and the bungalow was very pretty with lots of hammocks and stunning views. can't wait to come back !
Very nice, helpful, and friendly staff (be prepared to communicate with Google Translate), good location right on the beach, free use of kayaks, and cheap bicycles for rent.
It’s small and very quiet island. Super calm and relaxing place right at the beach. Not many tourist and if, then all elderly people. We were the youngest in the whole island resort(travelling with 1,8y baby)
Accommodation is very low key but you get what you pay for. Food good and very fairly priced. The owner super helpful and always around. Helped us with all logistics when arriving late and leaving early. Even made us a route plan for our next destination.
A lovely place to get away from it all. A very simple tropical island, quiet, peaceful and beautiful. The staff here were very helpful and friendly, the food was superb and reasonably priced, when I said I liked mango and sticky rice, they arranged it for the following evening, even though it wasn't on the menu.
A bicycle was available for hire, a boat trip was offered and organised and the staff addressed me by name, which I thought was a very nice touch.
