We very much loved our stay at Toscanina. Firstly, we were warmly welcomed by the host of the hotel, who gave us even extra information regarding sights in the neighbourhood, restaurants and walks. We were offered help with our luggage. The bar normally closed at 9, but we were welcome to stay for a drink, even after closing time, which we found extremely friendly. Again they offered great advice regarding sightseeings and even for our further travelroute. The breakfast was excellent. There was a lot of different things to choose from and all very very good. They even waited to make the eggs so to make sure that they would still be warm. We overall very much enjoyed our stay and we would surely recommend this hotel.

Wow, just wow. - The geographical situation: between the vineyards and with an (almost) personal church nearby! Moreover, border freaks can cross the border at will (just 1,2 km away, around 10min. walk and even less by bike). You can try wine both in the Italian side and the Slovenian side. - The breakfast: you can have a continental one or a more "local" one. We took the "local" one and we didn't regret it!
