This guest house is in the centre of Abisko and next to Abisko National Park. Depending on the season, the midnight sun and the Northern Lights can be viewed from the property and surrounding area. Abisko Östra Train Station is within 150 metres and Kiruna is 90 km away.

It was a very pleasant stay. I was worried that a windowless and small room might feel suffocating, but since the common area was enjoyable, we didn't feel the need to stay in the room. In this context, we found the room sufficient and even enjoyed the moments spent in it. I was concerned about the kitchen being inadequate because there were no options like a restaurant or café for meals, but it turned out not to be an issue. The building we stayed in had two kitchens, each equipped with two refrigerators, microwaves, ovens, and a total of 8 hotplates. I appreciated the separate refrigerators for each room, and the kitchen was always clean. The toilets and bathrooms were generally clean, with regular detailed cleaning in all common areas every morning. The reception staff were informative and polite, providing professional assistance in every matter. The BBQ was excellent, and hunger was impossible. We chased the Aurora, but couldn't catch it. However, pleasant conversations, especially thanks to Jacob, eased our aurora disappointment. In summary, we will come again. We're already planning, hoping to choose the right time for the Aurora next time. Abisko is a magical place.

Nice and clean hostel! It has a loundry service, drying room, free sauna and shared kitchen. We had really nice view from the room; to the lake and mountains. Before midsummer, there where almost no one else there, so the whole place was very peaceful and quiet. The room itself and hostel services and spaces were better than in Abisko Guesthouse we visited last year.

It is almost a hostel, but guests are quiet and respectful for the place and the others.

Great location, with lots of hiking trails near the hostel. Comfortably equipped kitchen with beautiful views of the lake. Friendly staff, always ready to help with different types of problems. It’s convenient that there is a store, restaurant and bistro in the hotel building (but separate from the hostel). There are some great places near the hostel where you can see the Northern Lights without light pollution

The location of the hostel is perfect. Just a few minutes walk from the Abisko train station. It's quiet and cozy all day and night long. There is a sauna available in the facilities. The beds are comfortable and the room, the kitchen and the toilet were clean.

The Swedish dude at reception was a legend gave us some great tips which resulted in us finding the northern lights! Not only from his tips but the northern lights came to life right on the hostel doorstep. Also all activities easily booked at the guesthouse with a 5 minute walk to pick up points.

Staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The Hostel building has a kitchen (very well fitted) and a toilet per floor. Rooms are spacious and practical. Location is quiet and close to Abisko Östra train station, and not far from the bus drop-off. There is a sauna available 1 hour per day. There are hikes starting just behind the main building!

Very great hostel! Well located near the train station and a big grocery shop. Everything was clean, well-equipped kitchen and dining area, plenty of toilets and showers. The room was clean and quiet. Easy check in / out, we arrived early and were able to check in ahead of time. Very friendly staff! :) Gift/Souvenir shop and information about trips nearby. I really recommend!

This is a really great hostel! For a good price I got my own room which was quiet, good temperature, and free of mosquitos. There were plenty of shared showers and toilets. The shared kitchen and dining area were great. I wish there was more budget accommodation like this in Sweden and Norway!
