Like Leed Homes, this guesthouse is located in Gisozi. Moreover, it shares the same management. A major difference is Peace Homes has a garden and a pleasant terrace. It is also a bit closer to a local market and to downtown (4.2 km from Kigali City Tower). A supermarket selling Dutch whole wheat bread is just a 15 minute walk away. Facilities are good. Wifi worked well most of the time (only three interruptions over a one month period). Hot shower is better than average. Most rooms are spacious, especially if you are just one person. Beds are comfortable. Mosquito repellent was provided and effective. The kitchen facility is rather basic, but good enough to prepare meals. Excellent service is provided by an assistant on site who speaks English, French, Swahili and Kinyarwanda. He is available 24/7! Recently the breakfast provision has been improved. It used to be the same every day (two-egg omelet, two slices of white bread and tea), but the last week of my stay it was almost different every day e.g. with some veggies added to the omelet or chips.

I felt like I was at home. They allowed early checking in and late check out as well. This property was a perfect place for my family. The staff are very attentive if there is any issues.
