Sensitive as well as stylish, cool restoration of a traditional house. The hosts are wonderfully warm people. Do eat food from Mesendorf65 (go there as well at least once, it’s a place that makes you instantly smile, as well as delight any food lover). It’s such a peaceful place; because of its size, even when all rooms were occupied, we still felt as if we had the place to ourselves.

The small village is really nice and quiet. People in the village are polite and smiling. The staff at Schmidt House is helpful and nice. Check-in and check-out are later than mentioned on Booking. We chose a room on the ground floor, facing the street. Really nice decorated, all vintage and dressed up with good taste. The bathroom is very generous, well equipped and facing the courtyard. Bed is really comfortable and the room was chilly enough, though outside it was quite hot during the noon. The restaurant is 5-10 minutes walk, near the old church. Breakfast was good and offering a wide range of cheese and local ham, vegetables, eggs, local jam, fresh juice, coffee and home made bread. Lunch and dinner are limited, but really tasty and made with local products. Good wine range in the menu and beautiful landscapes on the terrace. We really enjoyed spending the weekend there. Rupea and Viscri are really close and deserve a visit.

The room was very tidy and decorated in a traditional Romanian way. Moreover, the staff was really freidnly and helped us at each step including to create a surprise for my spouse. I am really happy about our stay here and would definitely come back.

We felt welcome and taken care of, the balcony had a great view of the Rupea fortress, our room was big and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious! There's plenty of parking outside too and the area is quiet.
Great location of the apartment. Kitchen was available for us to use as well. There was a great view at the citadel from the balcony in the kitchen where you could sit and eat. The room was very spacious and clean with a big comfortable bed.
The host was very welcoming and friendly, a beautiful host after a long way! The hosts make you feel at home! The view from the terrace in a must, it is amazing! Breakfast was wonderful!
