Huge and fantastic house in the center of the city. The house is just amazing, with 4 big and confortable rooms, a huge living room and meals room, a small tv room and a big kitchen. The 2 bathroons are very very good. The views are very nice, the house is quiet and very near the center of the city. Keep in mind that the house is in the higher part of town, so when returning from the river side you will need to walk uphill... but it is not that much and it is well worth it. Its a fantastic house.

We had the most amazing stay at Casa do Poço. The house is huge, clean and very comfy, stocked with everything you might need. The view from the terrace is beautiful, we loved sitting out there with a glass of wine. We did a tour of the vinyard with the owner, it was great to learn more about how a family vinyard runs and the wine is delicious! We came with our 6 month old, who was very well catered for. Cannot recommend this place more! We hope to be back!

This is our fourth visit to this well located quinta and, having booked late, could not get the full week we would have liked. Thank you Damiao and Luisa for your wonderful hospitality and breakfast, and we hope next time to book well enough in advance and come for a full week.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Fantastic place, beautiful apartment and lovely garden. Beautifully quiet at night. Fabulous hosts. Great breakfast in the morning with eggs from the chickens on the farm, fresh fruit and home made breads.
Great host, beautiful views, very nice house a few minutes from the city center, the house has a very spacious kitchen, there's plenty of plates, silverware, pans and pots and the host even left a baskets with snacks for us, there's a nice seating area with a Smart TV and the bathroom has a big shower with good water pressure, the beds are comfortable too. Good breakfast with delicious made-to-order scramlbed eggs by the charming and cheerful hostess Ana . Had a lovely relaxing swim in the pool on a hot afternoon .
Great location. Parking in the street right at the front door of the property. Fantastic view of the Duro from the balcony. Pedro the host is very helpful. Great host.
Great location just outside Peso da Guarda. Rooms 1, 3 and 5 have views over the vineyards and the Douro; the two other rooms face a garden that wraps around the side of the main building to a garden table with a view. Breakfast is copious. It’s a charming property with a nice rural feel. Joachim was a friendly host who obviously cares. Thanks for the welcome glass of Porto!
loved the location and the stunning garden. A great place to relax which was so quiet and peaceful. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Maria was delightful. Our host Ann-Marie was very charming. The bed was super comfortable. A typical European breakfast with a lovely homemade cake. I would definitely recommend a stay here .
