Great little place. The rooms are very large, well decorated, with a large bathroom and balcony. They provided some nice touches including cookies and coffee. The place is quiet, just in the outskirts of Penacova. There are a few coffee shops nearby, proper restaurants are around 2 Km away. The host was amazing, very friendly, and allowed to store bicycles in the garage downstairs.

Absolutely gorgeous, serene, comfortable spot perfect for a romantic weekend to get away from everything. The guest house was spacious, clean and had a very comfortable king size bed. The private pool was cold but very refreshing on a hot day, even now into October! The outdoor patio was out of dreams, perfect and comfortable for spending hours just hanging out! Would absolutely stay again. Jake the dog was a fun, sweet co-host and kept us company on the patio.

This place was better than I thought, considering the budget price! Firstly the room was a decent size, HOT shower whenever you wanted it, amazing view of the river valley and I liked the colour themed towels. The best thing though was the manager Eduardo had absolutely perfect English and we had great conversations about the history of the area, Portuguese history and he was able to give very clear directions to everything I was to see and the supermarket. Highly recommend.
