It is in a very remote location with lots of sounds of nature around, and complete darkness if you want to see the stars at night. Very peaceful, perfect for writers or groups of friends wanting a villa to themselves in the countryside. The sunset rays filtering into the room was absolutely stunning. Cute cottage vibes. The owner was nice enough to share recommendations for nearby restaurants (there aren't many, but I had the best shrimps of my life in the place she recommended).

We stayed here while hiking Rota Vicentina and arrived on a day when there was no water in Almograve. Our host Paulo put in a lot of extra effort to organize water to clean and prepare the appartement which turned out super clean. And luckily the water returned for us to shower in the later afternoon ;) The appartement had everything we needed, and the interactions with Paulo were very nice! He saved our trip when the shoes of my wife disassembled and organized a new pair within minutes. Many thanks to the unknown lady that left her hiking boots some days earlier! Overall we can highly recommend AL Casa das Andorinhas!

Our check in lady was so hospitable and nice. The room is so clean and decorated nicely. There is coffee available for making in the morning and you can have the staff make you breakfast in the morning for 7.50 euros. The restaurant is on site and serves the most delicious lunch and dinner for very affordable prices
