Villa Vasco da Gama, hotel in Cascais

Villa Vasco da Gama is the right choice for any visitor searching for a combination of charm, peace and tranquility, affording a convenient location from which to explore Cascais, Sintra and Lisbon.

The location was good for us, a little way from the main busy resort. But walkable. The Hotel (states it is a B& B) was above our expectations. The staff welcomed us to the VDG with a smile and showed us to our room and the whereabouts of the breakfast room. This was right by the reception area. The bedroom was on the ground floor was a delight -a large bed twin double bed, modern clean, bright as was the shower/bathroom room. Breakfast was plentiful, fresh rolls, plenty of choices from a cooked breakfast to a continental breakfast (I stuck with the continental). Staff on hand to top-up the trays. We really liked this property and definitely will stay here again. It was about 10-15 minutes walk to the train station Cascais and about 5 minutes walk to the restaurants/bars and sea front. Cascais is a delightful place and we are so happy that we come here (December time) to relax and enjoy the wonder of Portugal. Thank you and Merry Christmas.

The property was exceptional, and Carlos was a fantastic host who couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. The location was about a 10 minutes drive from Cascais center and the beaches, and just 30 minutes from Lisbon and Sintra. The perfect place to retreat from the busy areas. We loved our stay in this amazing property and would go back in a heartbeat.

Margarida was great, she took the time to get to know us and what we like and we really enjoyed speaking with her, she was warm and welcoming and always had a smile. The room was great, very comfortable and spacious and there was a gorgeous smell throughout the whole hotel. Breakfast was great with a good selection but portions were quite small. We also love that there were little treats left in our room every day. Thank you so much, we loved our stay and can’t wait to come back!

Villa Cascais Boutique Hotel, hotel in Cascais

Set in the historical centre of Cascais, Villa Cascais Boutique Hotel offers accommodation in a renovated aristocratic residence of the 19th century.

I stayed at the hotel together with a friend of mine as I participated at Ironman event. The start and exit were just next to the hotel. This is excellent location for anyone participating in Ironman. Hotel staff took great care of us. Given they were aware that we were athletes, they provided early breakfast at 4.30am without any extra charge, and after arriving from the event even provided some extra snacks. Room was very clean and staff were very polite

We loved staying here! It was perfect for our family and would have loved to stay longer than 2 nights. We relaxed in the pool, played ping pong and badminton, and the kids loved the trampoline. The grounds were so nice - fig trees, grape vines, and a nearby flock of sheep were totally charming. Our host was so nice and helpful. There is a walking path that takes you into town/the beach in about 15 minutes. While we loved the vibe in Cascais, I was also happy to come ‘home’ to this quiet and spacious property each evening.

Great location, great hosts. The place was clean and nice with a complimentary bottle of wine to stat the day right. The center of Cascais is walking distance, while the place itself is very calm and quaint. Lot's of activities (table tennis, pool, trampoline, old-timey foosball etc) available.

Ana was a great host very friendly and approachable. The apartment was spacious and clean and in a quiet residential location. There was a parking space behind the gates but it was not necessary as easy and safe to park in the road. Although it is a good 25min walk to the town taxis are very reasonable and easy to book and trains into Lisbon are frequent and cheap.
