I'm doing a series of articles on cycling in Portugal for several American magazines. Reception was great .... very good people skills! When I accidentally locked door without key, she came back to unlock - and had a good attitude for having to come back. Really nice area/lounge to hang out by kitchen. Nothing special about room itself, was fine; a little "worn" but acceptable.. Have a fused spine, so was nice of reception to give me a bed that might accommodate me better.

everything at Quinta das Donas was excellent. Extremely friendly host, beautiful big pool, private car parking available at no cost, supermarket very nearby, breakfast with plenty of choice. But the best were the rooms! Beautiful, large, comfortable beds, amazing shower facilities!! Great place for a short layover, but we wanted to stay a few more days :-)

Beautiful modern property, large rooms with fridge, TV and good air-conditioning. Good location close to Camino route. Lovely pool and breakfast basket delivered for early start. Good dinner recommendation given (Oasis restaurant) but wish we’d known a bit earlier about it. Not the owners fault - she was very helpful.

Joanna the host was waiting for us and was very friendly. In addition to the room, we had a living room and a dining area. The toilet and shower are shared (two additional rooms are on the floor). For a night on the road, it was fine.
The house was charming and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. We really enjoyed the swimming pool and the garden. There was plenty of space for our dogs to run around. The location is in the quiet village within 5 minutes drive to the big supermarkets. We will definitely come back in the future!
