Wimm and Monique, the very hospitable owners,have set up their own little animal sanctuary in their beautiful Quinta and being able to stay with them was a real priviledge and the highlight, for both my husband and myself, of our months much enjoyed trip round Portugal. Roof top terrace to be shared with other parties - if there are any. As often in town: little traffic of the small street can be heard, but we did no expect anything else.

The house's location is perfect, close to the castle and the city center.
The deco of the house is just great resembling the traditional deco of a Casa alentejana. The host was gentle and very responsive. The house was super clean and tidy.
Great location, parking for motorbike, great facilities, we had a choice of rooms, our room was lovely and provided everything we needed, excellent breakfast, the two Maria’s were both lovely and very helpful with everything.
Maria was a fantastic hostess. Breakfast was over the top, especially since we were the only ones staying there. She was also very helpful with suggestions for dinner and for visits to local wineries. She even called the winery for us to arrange a visit. We will definitely come back to this beautiful spot!

This little place was perfect. It had a very unique charm. It was decorated in a very sympathetic vintage style that really suited it's size and lay-out. way It was very centrally located, yet was very calm and quiet. The host greeted us on arrival, and gave us all the information we needed for such a short stay.
