We loved our stay at El Hueco Villas. Spacious and clean, air condition and hot water. We had a beautiful sea view from our room which was very nice to wake up to. It was a short walk to the beach, close to restaurants and markets. Diego made us feel at home and is a great guy. He was very helpful and gave us recommendations on what to see and do. We booked three days but ended up staying for a whole week.

They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
The location is good, outside the noisy city center yet close enough for a quick walk into the city center, the hosts are very nice and helpful. The room was plenty big enough and has good wifi.
Casa Talara is a very simple accommodation, and I picked it due to its price because I found it cheap and it seemed comfortable in the pictures. It met my expectations, I had a very quiet room with everything that I needed in order to spend one night in Talara. I would recommend it if you need to spend one or two nights in Talara.

Ana was an incredible host, she went out of her way to make sure that everything during my stay went well. The hotel is close to the airport which was very convenient. The morning when I left, Ana even helped me call a taxi to get into the town center to catch my bus to Mancora.
Very nice and absolutely clean place! Beds are comfortable, the rooms are very spacious and well maintained. Enough room to store things and a TV. For this price it is honestly an exceptional value! I felt absolutely safe and well hosted (girl traveling alone). The couple who runs the place was always around, is super lovely, helped with absolutely everything and made sure everything went smoothly! Also there is a petrol station right around the corner, if you need to buy something and also a very tasty restaurant. This place is 10 out of 10!
