The host was lovely, The location was quiet and pleasant with pretty gardens and nice outlook from our bedroom. Bedroom was roomy and warm. The continental breakfast was good.
A very pleasant quiet spot, very close to shops restaurants etc. Helen, the host was very friendly & welcoming & we felt very much at home. A lot of thought & care had been put into comfort & extra touches to add to the country home atmosphere.
Everything was wonderful. Charming hosts, beautiful characterful property, lovely room and bathroom. We had large wonderful continental breakfast with home-baked goods, lots of fruit, eggs, fruit juice, yoghurt, lovely bread etc. And we were able to have an early breakfast both mornings to fit in with our travel plans.
There was no A/C but it is a heritage property so we didn’t mind at all - and a large fan was provided in the room that was perfectly adequate
Lovely house and garden (complete with glow worms!) in a very nice part of the town - quiet and secluded but close to the town centre.
Helen is a great host and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended.
