Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Carlos was a very detailed and caring host. He had several options for breakfast, and I appreciated eating something healthy to start my day. In addition, the building is historical and decorated with a good deal of charm.
The house is spacious and comfortable, with a great location. The host, Javier, was friendly and very helpful, and went over and above expectations in assisting us.
A nice hippie-style hostel with friendly and relaxed atmosphere and colourful images painted on walls. Good location, quiet and not far from the centre. There is a washing machine and you can hang and dry your clothes on a lovely garden terrace.
Quiet room with a cute little terrace. Host was amicable and available for any question. It is well located a few blocks off the center and easy to walk around. Good shower and quiet at night.
very clean, quiet and spacious. it’s a pretty nice hostel, well kept, nicely decorated and in a good location.
the kitchen is super clean and well kept!
it has a very homey feeling and the staff is very nice and helpful
This hostel has a central location, close to Alameda from where you can take any local bus. The intercity bus station is 40 minutes of walk or 10 minutes by bus away. The street is quiet, but if other guests are noisy, the rooms have zero sound isolation. Wifi worked well for me. The bed was comfy, but the pillow was thin, so I had to use my own.
Free breakfast was good enough (bread, coffee, cereals)
incredible place, amazing architecture which is like travelling back in time.It should be a boutique hotel! Extremely clean, safe, quiet, great place to work too. One of the best hostel I’ve staying at and I’ve travelled a lot.
The location was incredible, staff was very friendly and helpful. The host walked us himself to the parking garage a few blocks away to help us with the car, and helped us with the TV at 9PM, above and beyond hospitality. There was hot coffee and juice, cereal and fruit provided in the morning. We booked the private room and it is extremely large and the bed was very comfortable, feels like less of a hostel and more like a nice boutique hotel. Can't wait to go back.
Very mellow hostel in a great location. The staff was extremely helpful throughout my stay. Well-equipped kitchen, good showers, and a spacious rooftop. Basic but filling breakfast to start the day.
