Great place to stay, highly recommended. Simple, but very clean rooms. Nice breakfast. Right by a river, and there are kayaks one can use to go to a nearby waterfall. The owner is very nice and gave us excellent recommendations for things to do. Even organized a boat for us to take us to Ile aux Cerfs. Staff very friendly.

We were warmly welcomed by the host couple. The apartment was clean and neat and comfortable. The location was great, close to the sea. The charming village of Trou d'eau Douce is authentic.
The beds were comfortable, the shower hot, and a well equipped kitchen with a great coffee machine.
We would be happy to recommend the place and to go back if the opportunity arises.

Amazingly warm and helpful host, she helped us to book tours and provided guidance and info. The house is so charming and artsy, also it is in nature and is so relaxing and calm. Loved the atmosphere.
The hosts was very friendly and helpful. They send us the specifications about the accommodations and they were very helpful when we wanted some advices. We also had a fresh bread every morning. The place was very clean and quiet, it looks better than the pictures. We spend every night at the balcony just chilling. Also we got a many tips for restaurants near by. Very nice service. The hosts are really trying to have happy visitors.
Charming hosts. Marie-Claire and Gaetan were always ready to help. The bedding was simply super quality. As we were staying for a full month they gave us bigger accommodation.
Everything. The location is quiet, there’s a place to safely park the rental car. We had a huge apartment with two amazing terraces. The little things - nice smell of the sheets, enough outlets on convenient places, anti-mosquito devices, fan and enough shade in the apartment, lots of storage space. The hostess is more than kind, she made sure we have everything we need and gave us a lot of suggestions.
