I have just stayed at Heaven Hills Guest House and had a great time. The hotel offers stunning views from the balcony and is spotlessly clean. This quiet atmosphere makes it an ideal getaway. Moreover, the host is exceedingly sociable and considerate, thereby making the stay more individual. In addition, both breakfast and dinner were sumptuous with a range of delicious local dishes to choose from. Furthermore, the guest house is situated near Maskeliya town center which can be easily reached on foot. If you want to enjoy peace and comfort during your stay, then this is the place for you; I highly recommend Heaven Hills Guest House in that regard.

Wow, what a perfect stay! The manager was extremely caring and kind. He arranged accommodation for our driver and even provided my mother, who has mobility issues, with a lower room. He provided us with very useful information about the location and the possibilities for trips in the area, which are many. We had problems with leeches in the tea fields and he provided us with bottles of salt water to attract the leeches.
The rooms were really clean, no need for air conditioning and the wifi worked well.
We welcomed that there is good drinking water here.
The view from the terrace is fascinating and very relaxing.
The breakfast was excellent and the portions were really big. Dinner also ok. The shrimp provided (pictured) was a highlight.

Excellent location near the railway station. Very nice villa with a couple of rooms and very nice shared areas. All very clean and furnished in a beautiful way. The owner is very friendly and helpful. He arranged for us a car to the bottom of the Adam’s mountain. We enjoyed staying here very much and would be happy to come back again.

Very friendly host.He would help with local planning,trips and tips..There are at least 4 tea lplantations nearby,one of them allows visitors it is Dunkeld tea factory..The highlight is Gartmore waterfall where You can swim at the very top of the fall. Easy ride by tuktuk.
The location is easily accessible from the main road and parking is available. The view is exceptionally beautiful. The family room we booked is spacious, clean and comfortable. We were warmly welcomed and host and the staff were friendly and helpfull and did the maximum to make our stay enjoyable.Surely they know what they are to do. Meals were delicious. The food is super good and the daughter of the hosts is a very skilled and passionate ayurvedic doctor. She can make ayurvedic massages but also helping you treating naturally your diseases.
I was trekking around, there are waterfalls, a nice lake with tea fields, and the section 8 of the pekoe trail from Norwood (going by bus) in the most beautiful tea fields of sri lanka.

Great location to climb Adam’s Peak, beautiful views. David and Vajira were excellent hosts, super friendly and made us feel very welcome. They even gave us fruit and tea to bring on the early morning climb and made us breakfast on our return!
Situated in a beautiful location a few minutes away from the reservoir. Lovely hosts. This Guesthouse and area warrants two nights but, like us, most people only plan for the one so they can complete Adam's Peak. They know some lovely tuktuk drivers to take you there.
We were warmly welcomed with a cup of tea. The owner contacted us beforehand to arrange a tuk tuk from the train station to the guesthouse. This driver stopped along the way to show nice viewpoints. This driver also drove us to the start point of Adam’s Peak (25min drive). We felt safe with him since a night drive is more challenging. We felt immediately at home at Heaven Hills Guest House. We had a delicious homemade rice curry. Internet works very fast and you have a nice view from the bedroom/dining room.
