The host was so nice and friendly! He took a photo of me and my friend in the Guesthouse and it was the best picture from all our trip! Also, the host gave us a map and explained us about the main spots in Gyeongju and the route to get there. The place was beautiful, clean and very well located. I really wanted to stay at a Korean traditional home and Doran Doran surpassed our expectations! Also, I left a souvenir in the guesthouse but the host was very empathic and nice enough to ship it to my place in Seoul! Felt so bad for bothering them, so thank you all so much for the wonderful experience!!

Beautiful traditional Korean house in the historical centre, only a couple of minutes from the main street, but in a very quiet neighbourhood. The rooms are soundproofed so you don't hear anything from your neighbors which is very nice compared to other Hanok locations where the walls can be very thin. The hosts are super friendly and always check to see if you need something. There was some toast and jam for breakfast, even though on booking it was stated that there was no breakfast. We had a fantastic time here.

The husband and wife hosts were very friendly and helpful throughout the trip and even offered to wash our laundry for free. The 2 bedrooms were very spacious with total of 5 beds. There's excellent coffee provided and BBQ can be arranged for 20,000won. It's such a nice and quiet place to stay.

Very quiet and relaxing place. It is located 20 minutes from the city, so it is a perfect place to take a break from the crowd. Very clean and comfortable, the bedroom is huge and it has kitchen appliances and private bathroom. You have to bring your own food as there is not restaurants near by. It would be better if you have your own car, because public transportation is a bit difficult. However, you can also call a taxi (not very easy if you don’t have a local phone number). Thankfully, the owner Mr Lee is the most amazing host!!! He will help you with everything, general information about transport, attractions, food. He is very kind and will look after you always, he made us feel so welcome in his house that we can not wait to come back :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sugi’s place and her warm hospitality. Her place is very clean and spacious. It has been very thoughtfully furnished and stocked to have everything one needs. I think it looks better than the pictures. Her excellent korean breakfast was thoroughly enjoyed. It’s quiet and peaceful. Her recommendations were quite helpful, regarding local attractions. I would love to stay her place again!
