Our recent stay at a beautiful hanok in Jeonju was an unforgettable experience, made even more special by the warm hospitality of Mr. Lee, the owner. The hanok itself was stunning—preserving traditional Korean architecture while offering modern comforts, perfect for relaxing and immersing oneself in the rich cultural history of the area.
What truly set this stay apart, however, was Mr. Lee's exceptional attitude. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. His warm smile and genuine interest in ensuring that we had the best experience were evident in every interaction. Mr. Lee was really knowledgeable about Jeonju and took the time to offer personalized recommendations based on our preferences. His attention to detail and thoughtfulness made my stay incredibly smooth and enjoyable. Mr. Lee’s dedication to his guests' comfort was truly remarkable.
If you're looking for an authentic hanok experience in Jeonju with the added bonus of impeccable service and hospitality, I cannot recommend Mr. Lee’s hanok enough. It was a perfect blend of tradition, comfort, and heartwarming hospitality.

Our stay in Hanok Dream was wonderful. We received an excellent welcome from the owners that were lovely and helpful. It was also a beautiful experience to sleep on a typical futon. The traditional stay was clean and met our expectations. There is also a beautiful garden where you can relax and fully enjoy the Hanok.
Definitely recommended.

What a lovely, small and beautiful guesthouse! Its not really old, but is build in the traditional Hanok-style. So perfect! Beautiful, nice, and comfortable! Goods beds. We had one room, with two big beds and two bathrooms. Spacious enough for our family of 4. And the owners were unbelievable friendly and helpfull! My wife had badly injured her foot just before, so they changed to a more confortable room for us, they made and brought us breakfast every morning (although they don't even serve breakfast) , and even drove us to the trainstation when we left! We never experienced so much help and support, absolutely amazing hosts! But even without these incredibly lovely hosts we would recommend this guesthouse. Its perfect, good located in the old Hanok village, and right next door to some good restaurants. Perfect stay!

The room was nice and cosy (though the hanok style sleeping arrangements may be difficult for those with delicate backs), and I like that there's two stories. There's a microwave, and coffee, tea and water are available/ provided. The lady was very friendly and helpful and provided a map and suggestions on where to go. There's so much to see and eat around the hanok village as well. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Very welcoming and helpful host, clean compact room was serviced daily, generous breakfast, great location in close proximity to shops and restaurants yet quiet, charming outdoor seating area
Great location to explore the hanok village. The host was very nice and helpful. He gave many good recommendations for visiting the hanok village and went the extra mile in terms of hospitality. The bed is hard but this is normal for hanok stay and room was matching the description and pictures. The garden is very charming.
Tiny room with shared bathroom, kitchen with minimal appliances, parking lot reserved for us but on the public street - however place is also very cheap, helpful lady was waiting for us for check-in and hostel is really in a great location, near river in the corner of famous Jeonju folk village, everything in the walking distance.
The guesthouse is located in the middle of the Hanok Village, even right at the "central" street of it. It's charming and a lovely place to stay. The hosts were very friendly and brought every morning homemade breakfast (included). Definitely recommend :)
The host was lovely, able to communicate well and help us with suggestions of places to go and transport bookings. He also surprised our toddlers at the end of the stay with a little parting gift.
The hanok is very clean and quiet. The beds were more comfortable than we expected and excellent temperature control with Ac/heater settings. Great location to explore Jeonju on feet and close to eateries.
Comfortable stay with my mother and I, an extra futon was provided in addition to the traditional Yo 요, and we slept well. Great location very close to the central hanok village while also being on a pretty quiet street. Our room was ready when we arrived a couple hours early and our host was accommodating and flexible when we checked in.
Great location right next to the hanok city center. Very friendly and helpfull owner who gave us recommendations for restaurants etc. The hostel had a very homey atmosphere with a lot of attention to details.
Great host that run the place. She was so nice, we came a bit late on a Saturday 1h before closing time of restaurants. we drove up the guest house, she jumped in the back of the car to show us where we could park, took us to a bibimbap restaurant close by, and then waited at the guesthouse until we came back to check us in. Perfect location and nice breakfast :)
