I had a wonderful stay in Julio's. Honestly the nicest host. He is so helpful with recommendations with what to do in Osaka. He really takes a genuine interest in his guest's travels. I really enjoyed the conversations with him.The hostel is in a fantastic location in Osaka. Lots of shops, restaurants and bars within walking distance. I will be back!

Chelsea is an incredibly friendly host. She speaks excellent English. Chelsea was able to organise some local experiences for us, like a visit to her friend's sushi shop to make sushi ourselves, a Japanese therapeutic massage and a visit to a local book-binding factory where we made some books. These things made our stay here really special. The room was large, comfortable and clean. It felt homely. It is up a flight of stairs if that matters to you. Shower and toilets were very clean. The breakfast was excellent- a coffee/other drink, an egg, piece of fruit, small salad, pickled vegetables, home-made yoghurt and toast/a toasted sandwich. It's located about 5 minutes walk from the subway and JR train, and plenty of places to eat dinner in the area. It's in a residential neighbourhood, which I found interesting.

The host is very kind and has a lot of good recommendations.
The apartment itself is beautiful and located in a very nice neighborhood with an incredible view of Osaka city.
Undoubtedly the highlight of my trip to japan, an incredibly warm and welcoming environment with all the amenities you could want and a totally beautiful setting with convenient transport links. The host is also incredible, if you’re visiting japan TAKIO is a must-stay!
An authentic guesthouse in a perfect location - just between Kyoto, Nara and Osaka. Very quiet, but beautiful area with very nice owners. Very clean, very comfortable - and you get everything you need: From towels, toothbrush, shampoo, hairdryer and tea/coffee. I would definitely come back!
Unique 80 year old Japanese house with fun elements for kids. The host made us a traditional dinner for a reasonable extra charge. He also took us shopping to a couple of close supermarkets for essentials.
This guesthouse is absolutely amazing, and the owner is extremely friendly and helpful. He gives you a very detailed tour of the Guesthouse, and proudly shows you his garden 😁
