The owners were very helpful and friendly. The room and common area is very clean. There is a cozy outdoor private onsen which is bookable each day. Tasty optional breakfast available too. The ski bus stop is 1-2 min away. You can walk there in your ski boots without issue. You can also walk to the Hakuba station area in less than 15 min.

We had a great stay at Anise Garden. It was spring ski time in Hakuba so the free shuttle wasn’t running the owner told us no problem he would drive us to and from the hills, he was so nice even drove us to our station when leaving and organized our bag delivery back. The private onsens both indoor and outdoor are beautiful. Would recommend and stay again!

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights while snowboarding in Hakuba, and it was perfect! Our room and the facilities were always immaculately clean and they supplied us with everything we needed for our stay. It was also in a great location - quiet, yet close to the bus stops, shops, restaurants, etc. However, what made our visit the most memorable were the incredible hosts. They were the sweetest little couple! They were so warm and welcoming, and you could tell how much pride they put into their beautiful Inn. We can't wait to come and stay here again! Next time we will be bringing all of our family and friends too!

At first it was overwhelming to pick a hotel because everywhere seemed good and we didn’t know the area. So we chose Belnina and so, so glad we did. Belnina was a perfect place to stay in Echoland. As others said, Taka was an exceptional host and delivered best advice about where to ski, rent, and eat (try the ramen place- so good!) the location was perfect, 2 min walk to rental company, bus, and delicious restaurants. The hotel itself was clean and inviting, the breakfast was perfect, and we loved the private onsen after a day of skiing. Definitely recommend you stop scrolling and just book this place!

Best place! The location is very close to Hakuba Goryu skiing resort. We walked every time and it took about 5 to 10 minutes with the uphill and snowy road. The couple who are running the place are incredible; they attend to every single detail. The huge deciding factor for us was the free pick-up and drop-off at the bus station. Taka drove us and we are grateful for this free service. We took the bus from Nagano to the Goryu station. The ride was about an hour and very convenient.

Great location,large room in relation to other Japanese hotels. Onsen has a ticket indicator so you knew how many people were there so you could choose the quiet times.200y for both washer and dryer.

Love it. Super friendly hosts who helped us a lot, offered to pick us up, take us to hire gear at echoland (with discount at affiliated store), take us to deliver our luggage and send us to the station upon checking out. Booked restaurants for us too since we didn't have a local phone number. Thank you so much! Great accommodation, very cosy and nice atmosphere, vending machine inside, 2 onsen rooms (one of which has an outdoor onsen too, very nice in the snow) which can be used privately by booking each day. Drying room for ski gear is very convenient. Short walking distance (<5 min) to free local bus stop to goryu, happo, iwatake and also to echoland base camp for the hakuba valley shuttle. Buses only run a few each day and finish pretty early, best to not miss the last one as getting a taxi can be a pain! Breakfast needs to be booked by 10am from the previous day, but it's amazing, highly recommended.
