The owners Kayo and Taka are very friendly and helpful, they can speak English well so we have a very good conversation while stay. The inn is located inside the forest and take 5mins walk to Goryu ski resort, convenient for skiing and make u have a very relaxing and peaceful stay. Breakfast and dinner are delicious too, must try!

The house itself is very quaint and clean with many small nice personal touches. The meals also were western but very delicious with huge portions (you must try the bread)! The owner was also friendly and tried his best to communicate with us even though he didn’t speak much English as I think they get more Japanese clients.
Tip: they sell discounted lift tickets that’s a lot cheaper than buying on the slope. Unfortunately we only saw this after buying our tickets :(

The host was very helpful and attentive. We were stuck in Matsumoto because trains weren't going to Hakuba due to heavy rain. I updated the host on the situation as we didn't know when we would arrive at the Guest House. To our surprise, he offered to go and pick us up at Matsumoto station (it's more than 1h drive one way!) late in the evening. I would've never expected such hospitality but here we are.
Our room was bigger than expected, with plenty of storage space. The bed was comfortable, and the AC was very nice to have in summer. The toilet and shower are clean as well.
Also, (if the skies are clear), you can see the beautiful mountain range right from the window, which was amazing.

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Beautiful house and exceptionally friendly host. The breakfast was fantastic, the whole room and bathrooms were immaculate, super clean and I'd stay here again. Lovely and quiet in this area.
The entire experience was seamless and very professionally done. Great location, great breakfast, great hosts, great times !!! For an accommodation option that is not going to break the bank, this is 100% the best value for money you can spend in Hakuba.
Would highly recommend to anyone venturing to Hakuba and am very pleased with my 6 nights with such great hosts.
Nanjo is a great host and made us feel very welcome. He also picked us up and dropped us back to Hakuba station - greatly appreciated when your carrying a lot of snow gear. Accomodation is very quaint and in a quiet area. Private onsen was fantastic after a hard day skiing.
Very clean, roomy and comfortable with all the modern facilities required included. Great location in a quiet area but only 150m from centre of Echoland. Patrick was the best host I have encountered. He provided heaps of advice on ski fields, restaurants and anything we wanted to know about the area. Patrick was always contactable and provided bus station pick up and drop off as well as grocery shopping trips.
We loved stayed at Mojo Lodge in summer. It was very quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed the surrounding nature on the bikes we borrowed from them for free. We had an amazing host with Danielle, she always made sure we were happy and was really helpful and charming!
We stayed 3 nights at Keimichi Guest House in summer and had the best time. The host is very attentive and friendly, the house is spacious, absolutely clean, the capsule beds are comfortable. Laundry was cheap (300) and they even have free rental bikes which was perfect to go around. Would definitely recommend staying there to anyone! 10/10
It was agreat house, spacious, all new, good large kitchen, good nice sitting area with nice large TV screen including Netflix. Bedrooms with nice quiet aircon and very good beds. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (excellent bathrooms by the way). Nice veranda where you can sit. It was summer, so no ski season but it is next to the ski-slopes. As cherry on the cream they have private beach-spot at a nearby lake, ideal place to cool down or do some water activities they made available for you. And a great host...Mr Dan.
