Friendly, clean, personable and Caroline is a great host. I also appreciated herbal tea option, the robes and the cute stuffed dogon the bed (which I named Otis).

Butterhouse, hotel in Trim

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Butterhouse is a recently renovated guest house situated in Trim, 5.2 km from Trim Castle.

Excellent breakfast with fresh fruit every morning, good tea and good coffee, super bread and croissants! Very good beds, a nice house which feels like home, with a peaceful countryside view, and even some calves feeding in the "wild flowers" garden part! Pam is welcoming, 'est aux petits soins', dedicated to us, with very good advice to go into Dublin or for pubs!!! and her husband is very attentive and nice too! A magnificent humane experience as well ! Thank you to both of you! Hope to see you in Touraine... Maryse

Lovely breakfast with fresh fruit and pastries and made to order breakfast. Also plenty of parking. Will be mentioning our stay to friends

This is a perfect location to begin or end a trip which involves Dublin airport (30 minute drive). After a two-week vacation (family of 8) we ended at Woodview Lodge with a warm welcome from the hosts, a quiet rural setting, and yet minutes away from the town of Trim. The Lodge exceeded our expectations, the rooms were very nicely done, we could not have asked for a nicer way to end our trip. Thank you for your hospitality, we hope more people find your property.

Cecilia is a great host and she welcomed us to her beautiful home, made us feel like staying with friends. She gave us a lot of information about the area, had maps ready. The room is very spacious, the bed is actually wide, which is not too common in Ireland, the bathroom has a shower and a bath tube, and is also very spacious. The area is very beautiful and quiet and it is only a short drive to the beautiful town of Trim. We had a great stay with Cecilia and will sure come back.
