This lovely Victorian building is in quiet, private walled gardens and is 3 km from Cork city centre, with buses stopping outside the door. It is now a 4-star guest house and has free Wi-Fi and parking.

The room I stayed in was excellent, breakfast service was great (and delicious), and all the staff were lovely. The building itself (and the interior) was stunning - old school, elegant feel with a beautiful garden. Great value for money. Thanks for having me!!

The place was very modern eith a great bathroom and comfy bed. On a main road but double glazed although ee had to sleep with windows open as room vety warm. Stairs are quite steep so hard to carry heavy luggage up. Close to town but we did drive.

The hotel is very charming, in an old building with a waterfall in the yard. Shops, clubs, pubs and restaurants are nearby, the city centre is 5 min by walk. Aircoach to Dublin in the same street. Breakfast was very good and not expensive. Wlan worked very well, the beds were comfortable. I got a quiet room on request in the 3rd floor (well isolated window). I would definitely stay here again!

I stayed here for a couple of nights in visiting CUH (hospital) to visit a relative. Staff were pleasant; the room was well-appointed though the bathroom was dated. Charming old building, wonderful location in downtown Cork. Really quiet at night time which was appreciated. The Imperial is a classy old-style hotel in a great location. Nice view to the front of hotel from our room and the windows seemed well sound-proofed from traffic noise.
