I liked the Apartment and the Swimming pool.
We also liked to eat breakfast by the Pool and drink Coffee:)
In an Apartment was everything that you needed. I also liked the Lavender Soap in the bathroom, cause the Tihany is known for the Lavender fields and they made a bunch of stuff out of it. We didn't have far to walk to the City, where we could see the old houses of Tihany. There we drank Lavender Lemonade, Lavender Wine, Lavender liquor and Lavender beer. I forgot to taste the Lavender Ice cream so next year I need to come back 😅
Last year I visited the other side of Lake Balaton and I saw that Tihany is very calm and quiet, which is also good for those who want that.
We did need to walk a little more to the beach.. but if you don't want to Walk, then you can take the Bus, Taxi or you can rent a bike.
Our only regret was that we did not extend our stay in the apartment as our vacation passed too quickly.

Szem's Guesthouse quickly became one of our favorite places to stay. It’s genuinely one of the most comfortable accommodations we’ve ever experienced, and the sense of relaxation we felt there is something we can’t emphasize enough.
What We Loved:
- The house is located on a quiet street shaded by towering chestnut and pine trees, providing a peaceful and serene environment.
- Parking is free and conveniently located on the street under the trees.
- The house’s courtyard features stunning pathways lined with flowers, also shaded by the majestic chestnuts and pines, creating a tranquil outdoor space.
- Each room opens up to large terraces furnished with tables, plants, and flowers — perfect for evening conversations with friends over a glass of wine.
- This place is ideal for groups of families, with or without children; we can’t imagine a more relaxing spot.
- For those who enjoy grilling, there’s a designated barbecue area that adds to the charm of this guesthouse.
- The hosts were incredibly accommodating, allowing us to check in late due to traffic and providing an early check-out as well.
- The house is just 300 meters from the lake and 200 meters from the town center, which is bustling with terraces offering delicious meals for all tastes and budgets (including the largest wienerschnitzel on the planet 🙂).

the location of Magaspart was absolutly wonderful, quiet, cozy, beautiful. the magaspart itself was really clean, and charming.the staf very nice and helpfull. the view from our balcony was amazing and the the breakfast was really good. we could rent bikes from them. really nice place.

Great house, in a great location, with a super pool and a yard where you can play ball or just sunbathe. The house was clean everywhere, there is everything you need. The host handed over the keys to us as soon as we arrived at the house. Also, we were allowed to check out 2 hours later than the check-out time without any problems, and the hostess was so kind that she treated us to pancakes =) Recommended it to everyone and will definitely come back again!
Great location - near the beach, pubs, restaurants, train station (it is cheap to travel by train to other places) and quiet surroundings. Very comfortable bed. Sockets beside the bed. Air conditioning helps a lot at summer temperatures - 24°C at night. Perfect for a summer stay! Additionally, we had a possibility to cancel free of charge one week before coming, which in case of any unexpected events is a useful option. Definitely recommend it! Thank you!
Wonderful accommodation. Very friendly and professional host, very nice and really clean room, very good breakfast and great location near the beaches. We will definitely want to stay here again.
Great location, quiet yard, great pool, family oriented quiet hotel . Staff was extraordinarily friendly and helpful. My family absolutely loved this stay. First day even though we came late in the evening, after the dinner was over, hotel staff could prepare us nice meal. Overall, we really felt we are welcomed here
