They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
SUPER LOVELY and accomodating HOST, place was close to Domica Caves as well as caves in Aggletek, host delivered a lovely basket of breakfast to our door which was such a delight, LOVED the heater, room was spacious and comfy
This guest house was a gem. Our “retro” room was large and clean, and our hosts went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, meeting us with large umbrellas at our car during a rainstorm and giving us a jug of surprisingly good homemade wine to enjoy at our leisure over our two-day stay.
The hosts were very friendly and always helpful. The garden was fantastic for relaxing after a day out. Nice little pool, lots of chairs and great flowers, the hosts even brought us cooling drinks 🍻.. The room was nice and clean and the kitchen was well stocked.
Exceptionally warm place, small gifts now & then were charming, we had a good stay there. The hosts are more than welcoming, nothing really to complain about.
