Everything
The host was the most beautiful lady.
So accommodating to everything.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Very friendly and accommodating staff, gave us tips in which taverna to try out. Thank you!
Room was spacious with a terrace towards the mountains. There was a little fridge which helped us store items as we were traveling by car.
Very Nice property, quiet and clean. Very close to Museum sites we visited. The village has a bakery, a mini market and tavernas, really charming.
The owner Angeliki and her daughters were wonderful hosts. So friendly, willing to impart good local knowledge and advice. It felt like visiting family.
The room was large, clean and comfortable.
The hotel was a wonderful building in a great location. Easy parking right outside. Well signposted from all over the village, so easy to find.
Vergina was lovely and quiet. Even better when the day trippers leave.
Lovely building in a great location. Very quiet and with great views. Only a short distance from the historical tomb and palace sites. Owners extremely friendly and helpful.
Rooms very clean, comfortable and warm. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were lovely with home made produce and well worth the extra. The guest house is very well placed for the tavernas and cafes in the centre of the village and for the archaeological sites of Vergina. It is quiet with views over the rooftops to the surrounding mountains.
Angelica is a warm, lovely host and will make you feel very welcome in her guest house. The room was large and comfortable with an outdoor sitting area. Very good, quiet location, walking distance to the Royal Tombs (highly recommended!) and other archeological sites as well as the tavernas in the small town.
This is a charming bed and breakfast, run by the lovely Angelica and Aphrodite. The place is spotless clean. Rooms are very spacious. Hospitality is out of this world. We felt at home! Walking distance to Vergina center and royal tomb which is very much worth the visit
For a pension, this was excellent - rooms with a/c looking out from a spacious balcony over farmland in a peaceful location in a rural village, surrounded by orchards (and near the tomb of Alexander The Great's father King Philip). The charming host, Thomai, welcomed us warmly, provided local information, and prepared a very good breakfast.
We only stayed one night, in transit. We left with a very pleasant impression. Very large room, large bathroom. Extremely comfortable bed :)
The guesthouse is located in a quiet area, with fresh air, like in the countryside. It is so nice to hear the birds singing in the morning (at dawn). The guesthouse has a nice terrace and garden.
The hosts are very welcoming and kind.
We were impressed by the royal tomb and the archaeological remains in the area.
