Nesteld in the heart of this charming village I had the pleasure of being hosted by Mr Triantafilo. He was the perfect host over and above what I expected. The room was spotlessly clean with fantastic views and a balcony. I was fortunate enough to have the double aspect room and had fabulous views of the distand sea and the twinkling lights of distant villages at night. The location of the house was perfect 2 mins from The central square and the 3 tavernas and coffee shop. The village was buzzing with it being a holiday period. Villagers have refrained from removing the original cobbled stoned footpaths whilst other villages have had them removed and laid with concrete. Cars are not allowed within the village excepting for deliveries early morning. If you want a traditional village then this is it.

We received a very warm welcome from our host with a welcome drink, which included the hosts own home made liquors. Our room was beautifully furnished and the breakfast is a feast for the eyes. The views from the hotel are amazing. All in all, an amazing place, old school service of the highest quality.

Nice location on the main square of Makrinitsa. Clean rooms, very hospitable owners. Nice breakfast.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
5 Min. from the main square, 3 min. from Hadzini square. A perfect location, lovely and comfortable, huge yard, beautiful view, very comfortable bed.
But the best thing:
The best host! Best! Thank you Samo, you rock!
The little yard of our room, in the shade of tri-century plane trees, the closeness with both the central square and the bus station, the kindness of our hostess and the staff.
Very cosy, warm room in the beautiful village of Agios Lavredios. Hearty, delicious breakfast and the hosts were kind and helpful. The location is easily accessible by car and not far from the village where the Pelion train departs.
Amazing old house on the slopes of Pelion, breath taking view!
But the most wonderful was Maria, our host. Wormly greeting us every evening with coffee and treats, and every morning with a different, unique and generous breakfast.
The entire place was incredible. The location was beautiful and the hotel was a hidden gem. The breakfast was hearty and wonderful and our host was the best! The place is a bit hard to find at first so it is highly recommended to follow the host's directions rather than the google maps. We will definitely visit again.
Very beautiful location and a very kind and helpful host. The room was very spacious and even had a fireplace which we could light with wood provided by the host.
