The shared bathroom is clean and functional. A reasonable option when it comes to an overnight stay not too far from the long distance buses leaving from the GTSC Terminal or Westfield Junction.

My favourite part was the beautiful garden full of lovely trees, plants and birdsong as well as the pool which was a great way to cool off. I also loved my room which was spacious, very comfortable and came with fridge, en suite shower and A/C. The hotel staff were fantastic, always ready to help, friendly and relaxed and at the same time very professional with plenty of tips on local places to visit. Great food too, such as butter fish and spicy chicken and recommend the delicious Gambian juice called Wonjo. I had a wonderful week at Hibiscus House - very much hope to go back some time.

Nice room, it is more like a room inside of a private family house, than like a guest house.
Friendly people. Very clean and well maintained.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
The hosts were so friendly and nice. When I got to the property I was welcomed with complimentary water and snacks, it was also extremely clean I will definitely be booking again!!!
The staff were very helpful in sorting out issues when we arrived.
Great location on the beach.
Good variety of food and excellent egg and hot food station at breakfast
The host is great and really listens an helps wherever he can, offering advice on which tours to do or not, and how to get Dalasi for a slightly better exchange. He also has a great sense of humour 😄 The Rooftop itself is an oasis, great to use as an office for a few weeks, or to relax in the evening. The lights in the evening make it a magical experience to sit and relax or chat with other guests. We have had such a lovely stay here, really recommend anyone to go here as well.
Very friendly and helpful staff and owner. Owner Urban is a great host who show´s caring interest in his guests. The house itself and all its various terraces are just gorgeous, located in a peaceful area. Rooms are very tastefully decorated.
THE MAIN STRENGTHS WERE THE LOCATION WITH DIRECT ACCESS TO BEACH, THE LARGE SWIMMING POOL AND OUTSIDE AREAS AND THE RELAXED ATMOSPHERE. THE SMALLER, 'BOUTIQUE' CHARACTER MEANT GUESTS MORE READILY MIXED SOCIALLY AND THE OWNER/MANAGER OF THE HOTEL INTERACTED CLOSELY WITH GUESTS AND SO WAS MORE RESPONSIVE TO THEIR NEEDS. THE BEACH WAS MOSTLY QUIET IN THE WEEK BUT CAME ALIVE AT WEEKENDS AS LOCAL FAMILIES PICKNICKED PROVIDING MUCH LOCAL COLOUR. WALKS ALONG THE BEACH PROVIDED ACCESS TO OTHER LARGER RESORT HOTELS FOR A CHANGE.
