This is a great place to stay in Oxford- we loved it , in spite of some of the issues we experienced. Excellent location . Very central but also quiet . Very high spec furnishings and fittings . Loved the old features alongside modern touches eg usb chargers , great lighting .

Lovely friendly hosts...
We had room 5 which was cosy. The view is of the house next door so you do need to have your blinds down if you don't want people looking in and the road is a bit noisy if you have the windows open but the room was clean, had everything you need and well equipped.
Location is excellent. Buses run every 5 minutes to Oxford from just outside the accommodation or you can have a 10 minute walk into Headington.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Very accommodating host always eager to help. Breakfast with lovely. Move us to the downstairs bedroom and I've seen previous reviews that it was noisy but for us it was very quiet and no issue at all.
Annexe was absolutely perfect for our weekend stay. Completely spotless, great night sleep- excellent quality sheets and mattress, lovely and quiet. Everything you could need and more (great quality shower products). Hari met us personally but instructions for the drop box were clear and easy. She even stalled our taxi the next morning whilst we got ready- a really warm, personable host. On hand if we needed anything! Wouldn't think twice about staying again - we loved it!!!
A quiet, cosy and very well equipped suite. I felt safe as a solo traveller and having self check-in made things simple and flexible. The bed was large and comfy, and having the sitting room area is a lovely addition to the space. Being a self contained private unit sets this place apart from a hotel stay. Being thoughtfully appointed with everything you would need for a stay made it feel like such good value too.
Communication with the host was excellent with detailed and helpful instructions.
What a great stay! Hari was a wonderful host - available if needed but her property gives great privacy. It was more spacious than the photos suggest, extremely well appointed and very clean.
The little touches were lovely - stocks of basics in the kitchen plus a little juice and biscuits etc. which elevated the booking. Also a great location and very quiet.
We would recommend and hopefully return!
Hari was the perfect host, friendly, helpful and living on site. The place was immaculate and had all our needs for a short break away. Nice little touches of cereals, milk, butter, juice etc. Great location close enough to explore the Cotswolds(a favourite of my husband and myself). Hope to return soon. Can highly recommend it.
Clean, spacious and well furnished house, equipped with everything you need. Located in a quiet residential area, lots of greenery, plenty of places to walk the dog. Oxford can be reached in 30-40 mins if there are no heavy traffic jams on the A40. Very friendly and welcoming hosts, quick to respond to all issues (burned out light bulbs were promptly replaced). We really enjoyed our stay in this house!
Great location near the high street and a 15 minute walk from Cobbes Manor Farm where we attended a wedding.

It's a small 6 room guest house, on a charming old street. Very quiet area. Slept with window open. Good breakfast. We stayed 2 nights and would stay here again. Friendly and accommodating staff. I felt relaxed here.
