The owners were very friendly. The room was well appointed and serviced every day. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. It's in a good location with parking outside on the road and a tight squeeze to a private one behind. Despitr being on a main road the room was quiet. There ars good restaurants nearby.

Harry was a superb host. Very comfortable and well equipped rooms. Superb breakfasts. Boat of Garten is a very quiet village and very well placed to explore the Cairngorms from. Will definitely choose The Boat House Guesthouse to stay next time.

Friendly staff, very accommodating and helpful (we arrived by bike and were given ample space in the shed to store them). Great host, very good food and a lovely bar. We'll definitely stay again!
Amazing stay again in this awesome guesthouse, Dianne always gives you a warm welcome and has lots of lovely stories and insights into the local area , rooms are excellent and the breakfast is always delicious, local area is simply stunning with nice restaurants and lovely wee shops and friendly locals . I can't recommend this guest house highly enough
The host is very charming and welcoming, and she cooks the breakfast to order, to your liking (which includes custom breakfast for our children). This included an excellent breakfast for the vegetarian part of our family - they give a special kudos to the host !
And the kids really loved the bathrobes :)
A lovely BNB that feels like home. Dianne is a fabulous host - welcoming, friendly, and helpful. She gave us wonderful suggestions for dinner and sight seeing in the area. A very comfortable, quiet room and delicious breakfast. We enjoyed chatting with Dianne and the other guests while enjoying breakfast. We highly recommend this place.
We've never been to a bed and breakfast before, however, with our stay at the Argyle Guest House, this definitely won't be our last B&B experience :) The host was very accommodating and she was infinitely kind. Breakfast was included in our stay and there were numerous breakfast options to choose from - the ones we've tried were delicious - including the Scottish breakfast. On top of it all, Tomintoul is a superb location for day-trips to the Cairngorms National Park.
another exceptional stay at this amazing guest house , dianne and steven are amazing hosts with a lot of local knowledge and the breakfast and home made bread that steven make are top notch , rooms are all amazingly appointed and all have their own separate themes , i really can't wait till im back up in tomintoul again
We had a lovely time at the Guest House. The room was clean and comfortable and we had a separate big bathroom. The host Diane is lovely and goes out of her way to make your stay comfortable. Good choice of food for breakfast and home made bread! Near the Guest House is a pub where they serve really nice food. The area is great for walks.
