We were cycling the trans pennine trail, and this stop over was perfect. No evening meals the night we were there but we were OK to order in a takeaway (plates were also provided and washed up for us!)
Breakfast was lovely (we had full English and Eggs Royale and cereal, fruit and pastries also included). Bikes were secure in the locked (and cctv covered) bar area, no problem that they, and us, were dripping wet!
Didn't see a lot of the area as it was dark when we arrived, but the surrounding countryside and hills were beautiful the next day

The property is a good cheap alternative to staying in hotels in the local area. It was clean and had a kettle in the room. There was a TV in the room if you're interested in that and the bed was very comfy. The location had good connections to bus routes.

2 lovely double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The TV was huge (my husband now wants one!) The bedrooms are at the back of the property and quieter than the living room/kitchen which is on a very busy main road.
The place was extremely clean, fresh towels, easy access to the room, everything that you need in the kitchen. Room was cosy and very comfortable. Great communication with the host despite me booking last minute! Amazing value for money, would definitely recommend!
