Our room was spotless and included thoughtful free additions such as bottled water, cans of coke, nibbles, quality shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Jack is an exceptional host and had suggestions for places to visit to make the most of our short stay. It’s a quick bus ride into the city centre and the bus stop for the return trip is right outside the property. We would have liked to stay longer!

Beds were comfortable and the room was clean. It was nice and quiet in the night and we slept well. Bottled water and tea and coffee were provided which was really nice! We were given a huge room which was a pleasant surprise and enjoyed having all the space! The location was great - the house was located in a nice residential area and it's not too far a walk to the centre and train station.

The guesthouse is part of a family home in a quiet residential street. There is secure gated parking on the premises. There is an enclosed garden area to sit in which was great as the weather was hot and sunny. The room and en-suite were spacious.

Great property with off road secure parking. Rooms were great. We had upper floor so we didn’t have anyone above us. The kettle in the room was great too. We were glad we bought our own pillows as the ones in the room were soft ( they usually are in most bnbs) ! Great host easy to contact. Liked the continental breakfast in the morning thank you. Not far from shopping locally or twenty minutes from York. We used park & ride. Seven pounds and much cheaper than parking in York all day!
