The room was tiny, but the owner was very clear and kindly and accurately about the dynamics of it. Therefore it was not a surprise and it was still perfectly functional with the everything on a remote and a nice view of the river path outside of the window

The property and hosts are superb. We could not fault the cleanliness and attention to detail. Breakfast was also delightful. We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Rockleigh Place to anyone wanting to visit The Eden Project or some of the lovely locations around the area.

The location of the hotel was perfect - a nice easy stroll down the hill to the village. The owners are very friendly and lovely to chat to.
Breakfast was delicious. They were worried about making breakfast for 6 of us at once (especially at the end of breakfast service) but did a great job!

Our expectations were fully met.
Great price-quality ratio.
Most important to us was the availability of parking and the cleanliness of the room.
The location of the house was very quiet and safe.
Not far from the house, we found an Indian restaurant where we were able to have a late-night dinner which we enjoyed.
Matthew provided us with detailed instructions, so there were no problems, and check-in and check-out were trouble-free.

Clean accommodation in quiet location but very convenient for Eden Project and Tregrehan Gardens. The host, was very welcoming and informative. She made great scones and there were lots of extras, such as a great range of teas and breakfast cereals. The kitchen was very well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay.
Where to begin, I loved everything about this place. It is quiet and tranquil. Perfect location. Gina, the host is a wonderful person, even baked scones. The kitchen was well equiped, in fact the whole place was well equiped. There is a lovey garden with a swing to sit and enjoy a wine. There are excellent instructions for use of the cottage and great recommendations for eating and discovering Cornwall.
This has to be the best place I have stayed in, I will definately come back.
