From the moment you walk through the door to leaving it's a lovely relaxing stay. Rooms are lovely & comfortable with everything you need. Food is lovely as well, very plentiful & reasonably priced. We love visiting the Wheatsheaf. And we can't wait to visit again in January. Keep up the good work we would not stay anywhere else

Great location on the edge of the village for this modern stone built house. Parking space right outside and plenty of space inside. The property is on a small cul-de-sac so no traffic noise and quiet neighbours.

Great location. Rooms a little tired, but for the price paid amazing value. It was very clean and plenty if tea and coffee available in the room. Continental breakfast plus English breakfast available, or both. Breakfast was amazing. Evening meals were beautiful. All four of us ate a different meal, all were great. Great bar, very relaxed. Coal fire! Great traditional pub. What's not to like. Nice quiet area at the rear to lock cycles up, with a hose pipe to use for washing if required.

Breakfast was first class. Fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals, toast, coffee, orange juice and a perfectly cooked full English. The location is very nice, quiet and relaxing, nice local riverside walks and about 25 minutes drive from Richmond for decent restaurants. Great view from our window. The bed was a good size and comfortable. Hosts Terry and Hannah are very friendly and helpful, and the whole place is kept very clean and tidy.
